In business for over 25 years, but hey – our stone is older than us.
At Georgian Bay Marble and Stone, we are committed to producing quality stone materials for both interior and exterior design. Many of our products feature hand-rocked natural faces, or shot and sand-blasting for a more modern appeal.
Prior to Carl Barfoot’s ownership, the quarry was operated by six generations of Cooks. Since then our stone was notably used in the construction of the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls, Ontario; Upper Canada College, Ontario; and dates back to the building of Wiarton’s own Royal Bank and Post Office.
Most recently, the business has pursued a new advent – polishing and brushing. We are pleased to announce that polished and brushed stone products will soon be available, including our own local stone and other domestic varieties from more Northern Ontario regions. This provides new product opportunities, such as countertop, fireplace, and tile materials. Check out our Look-Book to see our stone in action.
